The American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) recommends that children see an orthodontist by age 7. We agree! During your free consultation, Our doctors will evaluate if any preventative treatment may need to take place to prevent any future growth issues during development.

Did you think it was too late for braces? Think again! Nearly 1 in 4 patients in orthodontic treatment are adults! Adults make wonderful orthodontic patients and it’s never too late to straighten teeth or create a more functional bite.
Ceramic braces are made of clear materials and are therefore less visible on your teeth than metal braces. For this reason, ceramic braces are used mainly on older teenagers and adult patients who have cosmetic concerns. While they are visually less prominent, they do require more attention to oral hygiene as ceramic braces are larger and more brittle than their metal counterparts. For these reasons, ceramic braces tend to be used more on upper front teeth than on lower teeth.
Looking to go wireless? Clear aligners use a series of trays customized to your smile that gently move teeth into the ideal position. Many patients love the flexibility of being able to remove their aligners so they can brush and floss normally. Learn more about our clear aligners.
In an effort to provide our patients with the very latest in orthodontics, we are proud to offer Damon® braces: self-ligating braces system that goes above and beyond to increase patient comfort and reduce overall treatment time while straightening your teeth.
Damon® features brackets made entirely of high-grade stainless steel, making them strong and extremely durable. The brackets also have smoother, more rounded corners to help provide greater comfort for the patient and to appear even less noticeable than normal Damon® braces.
Our goal is to make orthodontic treatment as affordable as possible. We offer several flexible no-interest financial solutions that allow for monthly payment options that can work with any budget.
Treatment fees fluctuate depending on the length and complexity of each individual smile. That’s why we offer free consultations for every patient. During the exam you will tour one of our beautiful practice locations, take a few photos and complete some easy diagnostics, and Dr Hess or Dr. Popat will evaluate if treatment is recommended.
Once your customized treatment plan is established, our friendly treatment coordinator will review any and all financial information to make sure that the treatment fees work for you. Investing in your smile is an incredibly worthwhile decision that can last a lifetime.
No. We are happy to discuss finance options prior to starting treatment.
As a rule of thumb, we like to evaluate young patients after the 6-year molars erupt and the front permanent teeth just start to appear. This is usually between the ages of 6 and 8. The American Association of Orthodontics recommends that all children be seen for the first time by age 7.
There are many factors that determine the cost of your Invisalign treatment: how extensive the issues are that you want corrected, how long your treatment plan will last, and the specific treatment details prescribed by Hess Orthodontics.
We strive to make Invisalign affordable to everyone. You can get a beautiful, healthy and straight smile for as low as your monthly cell phone bill!
If your dental plan covers orthodontic treatment, you may also qualify for Invisalign. Talk to your insurance provider to determine the extent of coverage for your treatment. To schedule a free consultation to determine if Invisalign is right for you, contact us today!
